just looking for some help with my new Sandisk Extreme SSD (whole build is new, on a sabretooth 990FX board with FX8150 cpu, and new windows installation)

I'm getting very low write speeds of between 60 and 100 mbs, which i don't thinkis right?

here are the crystal mark scores (not sure about that one low "4k read" score either)

I've checked that the SATA ports are set to AHCI after doing some reading. That is the default for this motherboard anyway, but i did confirm it.

Not sure what else to do. should the write speed be so low compared with the read speed...according to the sandisk website they should both be up to 500mbps

thanks for any advice!

just closing this one off...problem solved by changing sata controller that the drive was plugged into, as per CL's advice.
(dunno if that means there's a problem with the Sata that it was orginally plugged into, but i'm not bothered, it works now...read and write speeds in the 400's)

There are a lot of differences between controller performance.

Glad you got it sorted.
