I just realised that the monitor I bought on Monday came with a DVI cable so I won't be needing the DVI cable but I would still like to purchase the hdmi to displayport adaptor :)

I was playing and streaming Overwatch just a few minutes ago and got this error message "Your Rendering device has been lost" Is this a PSU problem?

I should probably add that I've added a 3TB seagate HDD with 7200rpm from my old PC. I also have 2 external hard drives connected, 1 of which has its own external power cable.

It seems it could be an overheating issue. I'll try out my fan speed when I get a chance today. It was also hot in the room yesterday so that could have been a contributing factor.
I haven't overclocked anything in the system so that couldn't have caused it.

I've had a chat to our technician and he thinks it is either an issue with the GPU or its drivers.

Do you know what Driver version you are on currently?

sorry its the 419.17 version
I also opened up CAM the NZXT software and noticed that it wasn't registering any fan speed from the gpu. I've booted up Overwatch and the fans didn't come on. I will update to 419.35 and let you know what happens

I hope Saturday wasn't too busy. I did a repair and scan. It worked. I then got the error later this (Saturday) night. I have uninstalled and did a repair and scan again and so far it hasn't come up with the warning again.

Morning Thomas,

Just letting you know that all is good and the gpu is working well now.
I landed up reinstalling the driver software from evgas website.
In the end I uninstalled Overwatch and repaired it twice as well as re-installing the gpu drivers 3 times lol! :D
