Hello CL.

I'm wanting to purchase a new PC. My current one of 5 Years is well, getting old. I would like some guidance. 1)I would like to know if everything here will be compatible with each other and 2) get a quote on getting it pre-built or 3) how much it would cost to purchase these together.

As the description says I want to use it for doing gaming, streaming and 3D digital artwork. I don't want to go over 3K if possible (A little over is ok too).

CL AMD Ryzen 7 2700X, CMW16GX4M2A2666C16, X470 AORUS Gaming 5
Mobo: X470 AORUS Gaming 5
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 2700X
RAM: Corsair CMW16GX4M2A2666C16 Vengeance RGB ( 4)Am I able to choose my between Black & White?)

Storage: Samsung 860 EVO 1TB M.2 SSD ( 5)Is it possible to get a good quality SSD with 1TB thats maybe a bit cheaper? 6)Would a Seagate Barracuda 1TB 2.5" 3D TLC NAND SSD (STGS1000401) suffice?)
GPU: Gigabyte GV-N2060WF2OC-6GD GeForce RTX2060 WindForce OC 6GB
PSU: EVGA Supernova 650 G2 650W 80Plus Gold Power Supply fully modular
OS: Windows 10 USB Flash ( 7)Would the 64-Bit version work with this setup?)
Case: Phanteks Eclipse P350X Tempered Glass Mid Tower Case OR Phanteks Eclipse P300 Tempered Glass Mid Tower Case - Black

This is my first ever build and I've done some research. Thanks so much for taking a look. I hope you're have a great week and I hope to hear soon BigGrin

- Regards, FrostyGeorge (Jon)

Afternoon FrostyGeorge,

I have quoted up a build based on your above list of components, with a few changes mainly based on stock levels/ ETAs for more stock.

I did find a cheaper SSD the Sandisk Ultra with the same level of performance.

I've also added a Noctua cooler to keep the 2700xs temperatures in check a little quieter than the stock cooler.

Please have a look over the below quote and let me now what you think.

Hi Thomas,

Thanks for getting back to me so fast. The adjustments sound good. Is it possible to review this at a later date? I'm looking to upgrade in a few months time. Thanks so much for the help!

Regards,

Frosty

P.S. The websites system builder doesn't give me the option to change to an AMD processor.

Morning FrostyGeorge,

That shouldn't be a problem, though these quote are only valid for seven days because of how much prices fluctuate in our market so I would need to start the quote again :)

I'll have a chat to our web team about the system build as that is a decent bug :/

Hi Thomas,
If I were to accept when would payment be required?
Also I'm thinking of changing the case to the NZXT H500 white simply because of Aesthetics.
Would the price be about $20-30 more?

Thanks,
FrostyGeorge

Evening Thomas,

Thanks so much for helping me through this process. I look forward to receiving my rig.

Is it possible to hold this product (Dynamix DisplayPort Male to HDMI Female Adaptor (A-DP-HDMIF)) for me until I pick up the PC?

Also how do I redeem the reward points from my purchases instore?

Thank you very much once again.

Afternoon Frostygeorge,

No worries :)

I have added the adapter onto your order for you.

Reward points are earnt when a direct deposit or bank transfer order is completed as a way of us saying thank you for not using a card as we don't have to pay the surcharge that we usually absorb.

I will have a chat to our management and see if I can work anything out for you :)

Hi Thomas,

Is there a way that I could pay online so CL doesn't have to pay surcharge on my purchase?

I also noticed that the graphics card doesn't have a VGA cable so I'll add a DVI-D male to male cable (DYNAMIX DVI-D MALE TO DVI-D MALE (24+1) CABLE DUAL LINK - 2 METRES (C-DVI-D-MM2) ).

I've added a lot sorry about that :D Hope the day is going well for you and everyone at CL!

Regards,

Frosty

Morning Frostygeorge,

No worries I'll let our accounts team know to keep an eye out for the payment :)

I've checked up on the system and it looks like they are just waiting for the motherboard to arrive as apparently it had oversold.

I will chase them up again today for you and make sure the ball is rolling asap.

Hi Thomas,

I am so sorry to be a bother.
Thank you for letting me get the numbers for the gpu, unfortunately I don't think I got the promo code for it. unless it is on my papers (I can't find it).
If there is a spare moment where it's a bit quiet is it possible you could send it to me. I'm happy to receive it through my email (barkjon77@gmail.com).

Thanks so much again for your help.

Regards,

FrostyGeorge

Hi Thomas,
I was looking at the current motherboards that you have in-stock.
Is the Asus rog x470 f gaming motherboard similar or even better in its performance?
What would you recommend?

Frostygeorge

Hi Thomas,
Thanks so much for the link! :) I'll get onto it when I get home this afternoon.

I was thinking of changing the motherboard to this;
ASUS ROG STRIX X470-F GAMING, AMD X470, DDR4-3466, Dual M.2, Aura Sync Gaming Motherboard

Is there much of a difference between this motherboard and the gigabyte x470?
Thanks so much yet again :D

Morning Frostygeorge,

At this level there isn't a massive difference between the two brands, I would say they are very comparable.

It will likely overclock or handle an overclock better than the gigabyte at the expense of Wi-Fi though which may or may not be important to you?

Morning Thomas,

I'm not bothered by Wi-Fi as I hardly need/use it.

I'm happy to make the switch to the Asus motherboard then.
