Morning Brentyy14, I have quoted up a list of components for you based on your previously sent through parts. I have however made a few changes to the components purely as a recommendation. The RAM change was mainly due to stock availability, as well as a higher speed kit to keep things running smoothly. The GPU was changed to the Strix version for one reason, Temperatures. If run only with its fans running the temps get a little too high for comfort even with a decent fan speed, this is due to the card being optimised to be both water and air cooled, without water it gets hotter than a Strix would (which will also run quieter) The 960 EVO I simply upgraded to the 970 which is the newer model/ version of what you were already after, with increased speeds and consistency it is definitely the better option. Let me know your thoughts on all of this. |

Another question, How many fans do I need to have for this set-up? sorry if I ask too much question.

Morning Brentyy14, Not a problem, fan wise your case already has two 140s at the front and a 140 at the rear which should be sufficient. If you wanted to add additional fans I would rotate the front two and put them on the roof of your case at a very low RPM as additional extraction fans then add in some higher performing Noctua fans such as the below to the front of your case. http://www.computerloung...entview.asp?partid=30208 |

Sorry for disturbing you sir.. Thank you.. Edited by user Sunday, 27 May 2018 12:30:45 AM(UTC)

Morning Brentyy14, I honestly believe that the 2700X will be more future proof than the 8600k due to the core count difference alone (8 core 16 thread vs 6 core). |

I thought so too, I also changed the PSU into corsair since Im also buying cable mods. Im thinking to get Corsair 570X as my case as well and change all the fans into Corsair LL140. Do you think thats fine as well?

Afternoon Brentyy14,
That should be perfectly fine temp wise and will look a lot better as the 750D is more of a practical and minimalistic look compared to the better looking 570x |
