Been doing work from home a couple days using my Surface Pro and the ambient noise from my main tower is huge. Keen to do a new rig that is small as possible and super fast. What sort of parts in the market right now to build such a rig? Budget is flexible

Focus: Small + Quiet

Thanks

Afternoon Koruki,

What kind of specs are you after / workloads will this PC undergo?

For example, if you wanted a mid level i5 or below and a 1060 or below I would go for the Silverstone Milo case as below.

If you wanted to go to a higher specced i5 or an i7 and a 1070 or above I would move up to the H200i

This is mainly to improve airflow and keep noise to a minimum.

Which interests you more?

Morning Koruki,

I have quoted up a fast and quiet system for you as below.

Please have a look over the quote and let me know what changes you would like to make.

Thanks for putting this together

Just about the 960 1TB few days ago so won't need that. In terms of GPU, what can we fit into this? Is this the best GPU that will fit? Would need to double the RAM

Afternoon Koruki,

I have changed the RAM to a 2 x 16GB kit for you and removed the 960 as well as windows.

I have also upgraded the GPU to a GTX1080, will this be sufficient or would you prefer a GTX1080ti?

The only reason I didn't add one was that heat may be an issue in such a small case so the GTX1080 may be the safer option.

Please have a look over the below quote and let me know your thoughts.
