Ive had my pc for a while now, its about 6-7 years old now and one of my rams died so i was wondering if theirs anything i can do to improve my pc for games today and the future.

Morning Sprayman,


The first thing I would do would be to try and overclock your CPU to as high as you can get it stable as the extra clock speed will be able to give your rig a bit more life, you may need to look into a better cooler if you haven't already got a third party one capable of dealing with the extra heat.


I would also up your RAM to at least 8GB, though next time you upgrade your CPU and motherboard you will need to move to DDR4 RAM so it may not be the best idea to buy 16Gb at todays current market price if it can't be brought with you when you upgrade.
