Hi there

I'm just after a quote for a new build (around $2.1k). I have an idea of the parts that I want which I've listed out below. The one thing I'm tossing up is whether or not to go up to an M.2 SSD of the same capacity. I can stretch my budget but I don't want to get too carried away.

Corsair RMx Series RM650x 650W Fully Modular 80Plus Gold Power Supply
Western Digital Green 3D NAND 240GB 2.5" SATA3 SSD (WDS240G2G0A)
Western Digital Blue WD10EZEX 1TB 7200rpm 64MB Cache SATA3
ASUS PRIME H270-PRO, Intel H270, LED Lighting, Dual M.2 Motherboard
Corsair CMK8GX4M2A2400C14 Vengeance LPX 8GB (2x4GB) DDR4-2400 CL14
Intel KabyLake Core i7-7700 3.6Ghz, 8MB, LGA1151 Processor
Gigabyte GV-N1070G1 GAMING-8GD GeForce GTX1070 8GB G1 Gaming OC Gaming Video Card

I've intentionally left out a case since I already have one.

Also, how much more would a good 144Hz monitor add to my budget? I'm considering getting one too but I haven't added it to the list above since I'm unsure on which one to go for.

Cheers

Morning Reomero,

I have quoted up a system build for the components requested.

As it is currently it doesn't include any software setup as there was no OS (and it didn't fit within budget)

If you would like a truly plug and play machine I would need to add on the copy of windows and the service to install/ set it up which would likely total $200 for the both.

In regards to 144hz monitros, from what we have in stock this is what I would be looking at.

Oh yeah I forgot to mention that I didn't add the OS since I can get a copy from Uni.

I don't want it pre-built since I want to do that bit myself, and I'll live without a 144Hz monitor for now.

So before I commit to asking for an order link can I get a quote for just the parts (but with the 2.5" SSD swapped to this one)?

Afternoon Reomero,

That's not a problem I can requote as just parts for you.

The SSD you have linked is not currently in stock with only the 1TB version currently in stock with us.

Would you like to keep the SSD as is, add the 1TB or remove the SSD entirely?

How long would it take to get the parts that are at suppliers in? An SSD is a must-have for me so I'd keep the SSD as is in this case.

Afternoon Reomero,

Everything from the quote I sent through is currently in stock.

Out of stock items, it really depends on the supplier as some are local some are overseas which is why we can have a couple of days to an unknown period as an ETA.
