Going to take advantage of the great special you guys are running at the moment and buy a new pair of headphones.

I want these for gaming.. I'm not a big muso or movie watcher.. most of my online content is pretty much youtube.. so those aren't a big priority but are a nice to have.

Can anyone suggest which of the above two are better for FPS gaming?

Also would there be any gain in moving up the the HD600's?

Can appreciate I'll need something additional to run the DT990/HD600

Not after a headset.

Afternoon Daniel,

Personally, I would lean towards the DT990's as that's what I use to game and I choose these mainly for their amazing value for performance.

Another reason was their deeper bass which I prefer over the HD600s more neutral sound, which is great for music but lacks the emphasis for gaming in my opinion.

This is all obviously very personal and if you are a local Aucklander I would highly suggest popping into store and trying both as we have them on Demo in our showroom.
