I'm looking at this card:
http://www.computerloung...entview.asp?partid=27028

Both my monitors both use DVI as the connection to the GPU. This card only has the one DVI output, but I've read it's a DVI-DL connection - which I assume is a dual link DVI connector, so with one of these fancy things I should be able to run both monitors no problem?
DVI Dual link connector

Thanks

Morning MarklNz,

That's a tricky one as most splitters such as that will simply duplicate the signal and not extend it.

Do your monitors have any other connections available?

otherwise, you may be able to use one of these if your monitor accepts DVI-D

My monitors are old, so only accept DVI and VGA. DVI-D should be a goer though, when flicking through various input sources it does do digital/analogue.
If it doesn't work it makes justifying the monitor upgrade an easier one! ;)

Thanks for the prompt reply.
