Heya,

I'm looking to do two builds sometime in the (hopefully) near future for a friend and myself, maybe when there's a sale on if we can hold off for that long ;-). I've got a little bit of a list I'll post up and am open to any tweaks to it if there are any to be made to help out the budget if the performance level doesn't change too much.
Both machines will be mostly used for gaming. Not planning to utilize AMD crossfire or Nvidia Sli down the road at all. Already have monitor/peripherals for both machines.

Budget for build one is $2,200
Budget for build two is $1,600

BUILD #1:

MOBO: GIGABYTE GA-Z270 Gaming K3 $279.95
http://www.computerloung...entview.asp?partid=28260

CPU: I7-7700K $549.95
http://www.computerloung...entview.asp?partid=28152

CPU Cooling Noctua NH-U12S $129.95
http://www.computerloung...entview.asp?partid=19141

CASE Corsair Carbide 200R $99.95
http://www.computerloung...entview.asp?partid=18338

PSU Corsair RMX650X $199.95
http://www.computerloung...entview.asp?partid=26298

RAM: 2*8GB (16GB)) 3200C16 $169.95
http://www.computerloung...entview.asp?partid=28113

SSD SAMSUNG EVO 850 250GB $149.95
http://www.computerloung...entview.asp?partid=23913

Graphics GTX1070 8GB $699.95
http://www.computerloung...entview.asp?partid=27678

Build #2

MOBO: GIGABYTE GA-Z270 Gaming K3 $279.95
http://www.computerloung...entview.asp?partid=28260

CPU: I7-7700K $549.95
http://www.computerloung...entview.asp?partid=28152

CPU Cooling Noctua NH-U12S $129.95
http://www.computerloung...entview.asp?partid=19141

CASE Corsair Carbide 200R $99.95
http://www.computerloung...entview.asp?partid=18338

PSU Corsair RMX650X $199.95
http://www.computerloung...entview.asp?partid=26298

RAM: 2*8GB (16GB)) 3200C16 $169.95
http://www.computerloung...entview.asp?partid=28113

Samsung 850 Evo 250GB $149.95
http://www.computerloung...entview.asp?partid=23913

Total for build 1: $2,129.65
Total for build 2: $1,579.65
Total for both systems: $3,709.30

Operating system will not be required for either build and I currently plan on assembling both builds myself to help reduce costs. Both builds will be reusing a couple of mechanical harddrives.

Build 2 will be reusing an AMD HD7970 graphics card aswell.

[edit]
Upon further review it looks like the memory I chose might actually be a kit for 2X4GB and not 2X8GB. In different places on the page says they're 2X8GB but in others it says 2X4GB. Would prefer 2X8GB at 3200 for memory for both machines if possible. http://www.computerloung...entview.asp?partid=26805 may do the trick.
[/edit]

Afternoon Wanabe,

I have quoted up your two systems with the addition of the higher volume and speed RAM.

I am not currently aware on any sales but if there one it is almost always over the weekend period, so you could hang in there until Friday afternoon.

Have a look over the below quotes and let me know how you would like to proceed.

Nice thanks for the quote. Looks about right to me.

Had a discussion in regards to deciding to wait for a sale or purchasing ASAP. The decision is to purchase sooner rather than later. When you put up an order link we can order it this week.

[edit]
Actually hold off on putting up a customer link, am quite possibly looking into changing build one quite a bit

Hey hey,

Build 1 is no longer happening as that has actually already been dealt to now. Build 2 will still go ahead with the actual 16GB ram and no other changes to it. I am happy to buy build 2 today when you put up a link for it.

Cheers.
