Looking at getting a new system - finally time to ditch a laptop which has been going strong for a while.

Desired components:
GTX1070
16GB ram
Modular power supply
SSD + HDD

+ all the other essentials, including windows. Don't need anything fancy.

Is it possible to get the prices of individual components as part of a quote? Makes it easier to play with things as I do a bit of reading and research. Thank you!

As requested, is it possible to see the prices of individual components? I have some options for getting parts from elsewhere, so it would be good to see where I might be able to save some money and where I am better off buying new from you.

Afternoon Nicstella,

It is possible to break up the prices however it will not be the same price as this combo.

This is as the more parts the bigger the discount and this price only applies with all these components bought from us.

I can individually price the items but it will have to be tomorrow morning before I can post them up here.

I would like to bump up the SSD to the 256GB version, and the HDD down to the 1TB 7200RPM version please. I don't need whatever "OS configuration" is, if this changes the price.

Could you please give me a quote for the above adjustments.

Also, it seems I may be able to source the power supply and motherboard elsewhere. How does this all work in that case? Can you quote the system without these parts and without a build?

Morning Nicstella,

I have updated your quote to reflect your changes, this is now a parts list and does not include a build warranty (though the components still carry their manufacturer's warranty), the build itself or the OS configuration which is installing windows and getting the PC ready to go out of the box.

Sorry if I was unclear: could I also get a quote for the entire PC (i.e. not excluding the motherboard/PSU) and build, so I can make a more informed decision?

Morning Nicstella,

Please find attached you altered quote.

As you have upgraded the SSD and dropped the HDD size the price difference is very marginal.

This quote is still including a copy of windows as well as the installation of this and the 2 year warranty on the assembly of the PC system, if you would like to make any changes please let me know.

I note that the price for the components without build has very little or no discount: can you give a discount when buying this many components? Currently your prices are a lot steeper than elsewhere for similar hardware

Morning Nicstella,

Unfortunately with the parts you have chosen there is already very little markup from our purchase price so the discount is very minimal.

I have tried to counteract this by discounting our normal standard hardware instialltion from $199.95 to $140.

If you swapped to lower quality similar parts I could potentially lower the price but it's not something I would recommend.

If you have seen components on our website cheaper elsewhere I am more than happy to look into price matching if you can provide links to their respective websites.
