I'm a industrial design student looking to upgrade from a laptop to a PC.
I have no experience with builds and am just starting to wrap my head around the different components needed for a PC. I've been recommended Computer Lounge from multiple people so I thought I'd just go ahead and ask the experts.

Budget: $2000-2750NZD

Use: keyshot, fusion 360, Blender, Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, Premiere, some FL Studio.

I will be needing to purchase everything except for a keyboard and mouse.

I am not worried about the aesthetics of the build, I'd rather have better internals than a pretty exterior.

I'm not too sure if the is the right sort of budget for this build so I am open to increase it if it seems necessary.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks!

Afternoon Viss86,

I believe this is a well balanced render/ workstation machine with a more than capable i7 8700 and an RTX 2060 which should handle any GPU intensive work.

Please have a look over the below quote and let me know your thoughts/ if you would like to change anything or have an questions.

Thanks so much.

Just wondering if I could add another SSD or hard drive (to store larger files on) and alter the components to still stay in the price bracket? or around the same price bracket.

And would you have any recommendations for a reasonably priced monitor?

Thanks!

I've just been given the option of 2 nzxt rf-ap140-fp, 2 nzxt rf-fn122-rb and a AMD ryzen 5 1600. If that changes things

Morning Viss86,

I have updated your order to the newer AMD 2600 as well adding two much higher performing Noctua airflow fans.

This has resulted in a significant drop in price, please have a look over the below quote and let me know your thoughts.

Morning Viss86,

We can proceed via two options.

The first is I can turn this into an in store order which you can pay via direct deposit and email through all your details as well as shipping details so I can quote freight for you.

The other option is that I can create a special order link for you and you can place the order online and pay via Credit/ Debit or Direct Deposit.

Please let me know which option is on interest to you.

The second option with the order link sounds perfect.

Thanks for your help Thomas.
