Hello!

It is time to replace my extremely reliable, Computer Lounge built Core2 E7400 system that hasn't missed a beat since 2009.
It serves multiple roles - home office, photo editing, music server and light gaming.
I'm looking for longevity, with future upgrade options available (spare RAM/PCE slots etc).

Here's what I had in mind:

CPU: CoffeeLake Core i5 8400
Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 2666 16GB
SSD: Samsung 960 250GB M.2 NVMe
HDD: WD Black 2 TB
Video Card: GTX 1050Ti or 1060 3GB?
System case: Fractal Design R5 in black, no window - I like clean looking and quiet.
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10

I already have 2 internal WD 500 GB HDDs and a ASUS Xonar Hi-Fi sound card that will transfer into this system. I think the R5 case will hold all this.
Please recommend motherboard/PSU options.
I will need a DVD drive and wireless.
Budget $2000-2500

Regards,
David

Afternoon djmccorm,

Good to hear your PC has soldiered on until now.

I have quoted up a system based of your provided specs and have gone with the GTX1050ti initially as a 1060 might be more grunt than you need, it might be nice to have though.

Let me know your thoughts on the below quote and if you would like to make any changes I am happy to do so.

Morning Djmccorm,

Would you like me to turn this into an in-store order for you or would you prefer an order link so you can place the order online?

EDIT: Here is your special order link if you would like to proceed online :)

Ok, online order is sent.
Thanks again for your help!

PS I did try to use the online system builder, but this motherboard wasn't listed as an option....
