Due to major problems with my current system build (by Computer Lounge) I have been looking to purchase a prebuilt gaming system to replace it. I came across the Snowbound prebuild which seems to be an ideal type replacement however I am puzzled by some of the specs on this prebuild, namely
a) Memory at 16gb seems minimal when compared to the motherboard maximum of 64gb, I would assume that at least 32gb should populate this m/board
b) Storage of only a 256gb ssd is woefully low, should be at least a 1 TB ssd should be installed.
Why is it that these great looking builds are subject to these limits.
Can the specs be adjusted on these builds??

Afternoon Ray,
The cost of these sorts of builds are generally geared towards the best bang for buck, with powerful CPUs and GPUs making up the majority of the cost.
This build, in particular, is also fully water-cooled which is a good chunk of the price.
In regards to the RAM, 16GB is currently able to run 99% of games and adding more would just raise the price even further.
The 256GB SSD is intended to store the operating system as well as a few apps maybe a few games.
A secondary HDD is recommended for mass storage of music, files, videos and games.
We can potentially install a second HDD, though the rest of the parts are all ready opened and installed in the PC
