Hi CL team,
I am looking for a new build which will be used mainly for gaming and multimedia purposes. Budget is around 2500-3000.
I need a PC which I can leave on for 24/7 and not have a problem with crashing randomly (*cough* MEMORY_MANAGEMENT *cough*).
Planning to run 10 clients of a fairly old game that has the following minimum system requirements to run -
OS: WINDOWS 7, 8, 10 CPU: Pentium 4 2.5GHZ / Athlon64 3500 RAM: RAM 1 GB GPU: Graphic Memory 512 MB DX: Direct X 9.0c
Pretty low right? Hopefully this is not too specific and you geniuses can help me!
Also wanting to have it water cooled as well.
If its not too much to ask, can I get a quote for a closed and open loop please including the build?
Thanks!

Afternoon Jerome, I have quoted up an AMD system for you to have a look over, I did my best to scale the requirements up to what they would need to run ten instances of. Hopefully, the 8GB of GDDR5 RAM will be able to handle the game along with the 8c 16t of the AMD 1700 @3.7Ghz. I've added a 250GB standard SSD to keep costs down without sacrificing too much speed, as well as a 2TB for mass storage of media. Have a look over the below quote and let me know your thoughts.

Hi Thomas,
Thank you for this, looks promising :). I see you mentioned 8GB of GDDR5 RAM but in the quote its a 2x8gb ddr4 memory?
Cheers,
Jerome

Morning Jerome,
The 8GB of GDDR5 I was referring to was on your graphics card, if you wanted more than 8GB of VRAM you would need to look at the GTX1080ti which may be overkill for what you are planning on using it for.

Good morning Thomas,
Sorry for the late reply, The pc will be in my room so I'm just wondering how the noise level is for this system?
Cheers,
Jerome

Afternoon Jerome, Both the CPU and GPU run fairly cool due to their power draw and with their current cooling methods should be quiet. Under full load, they may get a bit more audible the CPU more so than the GPU if this does ever reach a level you are not happy with third-party fans such as Noctuas will operate quieter while performing the same if not better.
