Hi there,
I'm looking to spend around 3-4k on a pc and a single monitor (can spend more if its going to significantly increase the performance or capacity of the system).
The PC will be mainly used for gaming, on as high graphics as possible mostly FPS games and rendering and editing relatively long videos. Doesn't need to be quiet. Just want a good system that will take high use and stress (as im on my pc for probably 6+ hours daily editing videos, gaming etc). Would love to be able to play games at 4k eventually aswell.

I more or less only need the rig itself and a relatively inexpensive monitor that I can use alongside another, as I already have another pc with all the peripherals I would need. I would rather pay a bit more for a very visually appealing system also.

I need i7, a gtx 1080 gpu with watercooled cpu and gpu preferably, full size tower and a samsung 850 pro ssd, and some decent external pc speakers (logitech preferably but am flexible if they arent the best). Would prefer a setup that I could easily upgrade when I wanted/ got sick of components. Also could use a relatively decent amount of storage as I have lots of files that would need to be stored on the pc.
Cheers,
James Cool

Hi there,
Would you say this monitor would be as good: ASUS VE248HR 24" 1MS FULL HD LED MONITOR (thats the monitor I already have). Would it be possible to get some overclocking, and maybe a black and another colour scheme sort of going? Would this system be better than your pre-built colossus system?
Regards,
James.

And also would it increase the performance a significant amount if I was able to stretch my budget to 5k?

I would say your current monitor will have a slightly better panel.

Currently you have a black and white colour scheme (sort off) its a little hard with our limited stock after the Christmas/ new years break but I will see what I can do.

If you increased your budget I would swap out the GTX1080 for two GTX1070's which would be a massive boost in power.

Performance wise this will be very similar to the Colossus build but with more RAM and a cooler (with more overclocking potential) video card.

If you are willing to wait until next week you will also be able to use the new CPU the 7700k, with the new Z270 motherboards.

Hey man,
Would you be able to update that quote with the new 7700k intel i7 processor and z270 motherboard so I can have a look over it? Aswell as replacing the monitor with this one: ASUS VE248HR 24" 1MS FULL HD LED MONITOR
Cheers,
