Hello everyone, this is my first post and I am hoping some of the folk here may be able to help me.
I am looking at getting a system built primarily for music (Ableton Live DAW) and some video editing. I really would like to use win 7 as all my software/vst plugins and audio interface (Steinberg UR28m/USB 2.0)work properly on this platform. I understand their are USB 2.0 issues with using win 7 with skylake and perhaps broadwell e. Could anyone advise me whether or not I will still be able to use my audio interface on skylake/broadwell e.

Afternoon KIKI007,
Unfortunately we haven't run into any of these issues ourselves and can not vouch for the success of the components themselves working with the legacy software.
This would probably be best to bring up on the respective manufacturers forums or website as they should have done some sort of compatibility check.
