I can't believe this doesn't exist yet, its a staple for every other forum I've been on, and they had nothing to do with computers!

how did you get the icons across the top of the screen, and also the time/date thingy?

Time/date thingy is a program called Rainmeter, it has an amazing community.

The icons is a program called Object Dock.

Yes well, I know where they all are :p
I have yes. I had it like that previously, but when I re-installed windows I never really thought about it. It doesn't bother me so no need for change :)
